Arden Residents Share in First Harvest

Did you know that Arden is South Florida’s very first agrihood? At the heart of Arden is a five-acre working farm that provides residents with fresh, flavorful produce. After a lot of hard work by our Farm Managers, including prepping the soil, sowing the seeds and carefully maintaining acres of crops, Arden residents were able to enjoy the very first harvest – just one of many to come!

How it Works

Arden’s Farm Managers tend the farm from seed to harvest, and make sure every season is bountiful and successful. This takes the burden off residents, who can enjoy the entire growing process without having to get their hands too dirty. Residents can also stop by to chat with the Farm Managers and ask them questions about their own gardens.

When fruits, vegetables and herbs are harvested from the farm, every resident gets a share of the produce. Fresh is best when it comes to eating healthy, and with access to produce grown right in their community, residents have access to some of the freshest produce possible. What’s available varies by season, but tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, basil, dill, spinach and okra are just a few of the things residents can look forward to receiving in their Farm Shares. And the best part? Farm Shares don’t cost anything extra – it’s all included as part of the monthly HOA fee.
